I live for a good sale, so I never pass up on Black Friday. This is the best time of year to stock up on your favorite plus brands or try a new one. Last year we saw the steepest discounts ever from brands like Asos and Eloquii. This year, sales are starting earlier than ever! Black Friday is taking over the month of November and most brands have already begun offering specials and discounts. Now is the time to start your wishlist. These are my favorite plus-size brands to shop for during the holiday season. I’ve been stalking their sales for years and I’m sharing my tips and some items on my wishlist!
ModCloth
Black Friday came early on ModCloth! Right now they have 40% off the entire site with promo code FRIDAY40. ModCloth is my favorite place to find vintage-inspired dresses and bold pieces. I plan on grabbing some fun statement pieces.
Eloquii
Eloquii has not announced their 2021 sale yet, but they’re already offering 40% off most of their site. If this year is anything like the previous, they will continue to offer a 40% discount until they start their 50% off Black Friday sale. If you have something on your wishlist, it’s a good idea to grab it now because it may not still be in stock for Black Friday. I’m grabbing my must-haves now and waiting on my maybe list until the 50% off begins.
Fashion to Figure
Fashion to Figure is one of the few brands that isn’t getting into the holiday sale spirit early this year. But their sale should be worth the wait because last year they offered up to 60% off of everything! Fashion to Figure is my go-to for glam holiday outfits. On my wishlist, I have glitzy pieces for Christmas and New Year’s.
Torrid
Every year, Torrid offers 50% off for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Their sale has been very consistent year after year, so it will likely start on November 23rd. Currently, Torrid is running their Buy More Save More promotion with 50% off $200, 40% off $150, 35% off $100, and 30% off $50. They have a lot of cute new fall and winter staples, so if you’re planning on stocking up, now may be the time to shop.
Lane Bryant
Last year, Lane Bryant offered 40% off nearly the entire site for a week. As well as limited-time and doorbuster deals like $25 bras, $39 jeans, $25 knit sweaters, and 50% off outerwear. It’s safe to predict that this year they’ll offer 40% off again and similar deals. This is a great time to grab bras and cozy pieces.
ASOS
Asos pulled out a wildcard last year and offered up to 70% off of everything sitewide for the first time ever! No word on what they have planned this year, but hopefully they offer something just as good. Since their plus stock tends to be limited, now is the time to plan your buy. I suggest hitting this sale early.
Target
When it comes to clothing and accessories, Target offers their deals based on categories throughout November and December. So far this year they have offered 30% off slippers, boots, and outerwear. Each category sale is only 24 hours long with 24 hours’ notice the day before, so I recommend downloading the Target app and saving any items you’re interested in. Since Target is a one-stop everything shop, they usually focus on electronics, home items, and toys instead of clothing for their day-of Black Friday sale.
