Summer may be nearing its end for many people but in Southern California, it is in full force. The hottest time of the year is between August and September, with October usually being quite warm as well. This means extra time to wear summer dresses and really take advantage of plus size end of summer sales. As we know, I am a sucker for a good deal, and find no issue buying seasonal clothing for the next year. I see no issue with wearing ‘last seasons’ clothing and am a big supporter of saving money while also looking fabulous. The best plus size end of summer sales are between late August to early September, but some may start as early as August 1st. My biggest tip is to always sign up for brand newsletters, this is the best way to find out about the latest sales. I have created a separate Gmail account for these newsletters so I do not clog up my everyday one.
My favorite plus size end of summer sales are usually from Lane Bryant, Torrid, Eloquii, Nordstrom, and Asos. Don’t be afraid to also look at your favorite boutiques – even their items usually go on sale post-season!
Eloquii
Oh sweet sweet Eloquii, I cannot hide my undying love for you. Eloquii is hands down my current favorite plus size fashion brand with their trendy, high-quality clothing. I stalk their Instagram story feeds for exclusive early access to their big sales, like their warehouse and end of season sales. If you play your cards right you can find items as low as $10
Lane Bryant
Lane Bryant always has decent sales going on. My personal favorite being their extra 50% off clearance, and their 50% off the entire store. I have found the lowest prices at Lane Bryant out of any other retailer – with items up to 90% off. I have scored shirts as low as $3 and dresses as low as $5.

Nordstrom
As I am sure you have heard 1,000 times by now, Nordstrom has their huge anniversary sale going on. To say it was lack-luster would be an understatement. They only had a little over 100 plus size items included in the sale. Yes you read that right – 100 something plus items! It just shows how much further the fashion industry needs to go. Even so – their best sales are actually AFTER their anniversary sale. Many items left over will go further on sale as the year progresses and they make space for fall and winter items. I check the Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack websites frequently as they often have different items on sale. Be sure to check both, many items never make it to the Rack and are still significantly discounted on their official site.
Torrid
Torrid is always playing hard to get with their coupons. You really have to stake them out to get the best deals. One of their best deals is 50% off clearance. Unfortunately, you cannot combine their Haute Cash with this offer, and they’ve only become more strict with their coupon rules over the last year. Even so – you can find items as low as $5, and many shirts under $10.

Asos
Asos has made great strides in recent years when it comes to plus size fashion. Their selection has grown tenfold, now with thousands of stylish options from a range of brands. They even came out with their own premium line which has been stunning! Scoring plus size end of summer sales deals is a waiting game – I check back a few times a week starting in mid-August to see which items have gone on sale or have been further discounted. I usually wait until an item is at least 50% off and combine it with a 10-15% off coupon code.
